Heath Lisenby

Dr. Lisenby served in both counseling and ministry roles for over 25 years, in addition to being an entrepreneur and business owner. He earned his Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana.

He and his wife have been married for 27 years. They have a college age son and teen daughter. They’ve called Fort Wayne home for the last 23 years.

Counseling Approach

Dr. Lisenby’s approach to counseling is centered in the Christian worldview, yet nondenominational. He is sensitive to and respects each client’s level of openness to including a Christian emphasis in their counseling or coaching experience. As clients are open to Christian counseling, he will use Bible passages, biblical and theological principles for understanding and dealing with life issues, encourage prayer, and provide guidance for Christian spiritual growth and development.
