Alan Jones

Alan Jones is a 2003 Taylor University graduate and former basketball player
under legendary coach Paul Patterson. Inducted into Taylor’s Hall of Fame in
2009, he remains involved with the university through the Alumni Council
and Engagement Task Force.
Alan earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Taylor and his
master’s degree in school administration and leadership at Indiana University.
Before retiring from education, he served as a public school teacher and spent
17 years as a principal and administrator.
Today, Alan owns Principal Properties, where he invests in, sells, and
renovates real estate and manages rental properties. He also serves on the
board of Remedy LIVE, supporting its suicide prevention work.
Alan and his wife, Jackie, live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, with their four
children and attend Pathway Church. He is passionate about investing in
people, developing leaders, and encouraging others to trust God through life’s
challenges and uncertainties.
