Pastor Marvin Williams

Pastor Marvin Williams serves as one of the pastors at One Church of Lansing, Michigan. Prior to the forming of One Church, he was the Senior Teaching Pastor at Trinity Church of Lansing, one of the church planters for Tabernacle Community Church, Associate Preaching Pastor at Calvary Church, and New Hope Baptist Church of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Pastor Marvin holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Bishop College, a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Trinity International University, a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in the New Testament from Cornerstone Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. In addition to his pastoral leadership, he regularly contributes to Our Daily Bread, where his devotionals reach readers around the world.

Family and ministry are central to Marvin’s life. He and his wife, Tonia, live in Haslett, Michigan. Together, they celebrate four children, each actively engaged in gospel work: Marvin Jr., a high school Bible teacher; Micah, a church planter and pastor in Detroit, serving alongside his wife, Megan; Ashtin, a minister at One Church; and Mikayla, a missionary in California with Circuit Riders. They also have three grandchildren: Maliyah (3 years old), Malachi (1 year old) and Amado (3 months old).
