Lt. Col. Randy Curry, Chief Financial Officer, Office of the Chief of Chaplains

CH Randy Curry was born at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi and attended high school in Moody, Texas.
CH Curry commissioned in the U.S. Army in October, 1999 as a chaplain candidate and attended the Chaplain Officer Basic Course at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. He completed his Master of Divinity degree from Northwest Baptist Seminary in Tacoma, Washington in 2003. Upon accession to active duty in April 2004, CH Curry was assigned to Fort Lewis, Washington. Subsequent assignments include Fort Polk, Louisiana, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, Fort Liberty, North Carolina, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and US Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer in the Resources Division in the Office of the Chief of Chaplains.
CH Curry’s military education includes the Chaplain Officer Basic Course, Chaplain Captain Career Course, Chaplain Brigade Functional Course, Chaplain Resource Management Course and Combat Medical Ministry Course. His civilian schooling includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio/Television/Film Production from The University of Texas, Master of Divinity from Northwest Baptist Seminary, and Master of Business Administration, Executive Master of Public Administration, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Non-governmental Organizations from Syracuse University. CH Curry is a Certified Defense Financial Manager.
CH Curry’s awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (with four oak leaf clusters), the Army Commendation Medal (with two oak leaf clusters), Army Achievement Medal (with one oak leaf cluster), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, NATO International Security Assistance Force Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon (2nd award), Valorous Unit Award, Meritorious Unit Citation, Army Service Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Parachutist Badge, German Jump Wings (bronze), and the Combat Action Badge.
CH Curry is married to the former Kezia McNeal, PhD of Atlanta, Georgia. His wife is an educator, teaching with The University of Hawaii and Columbia International University. CH Curry’s interests include family, faith, travel, media, animals, and peaceful time in the yard.
