Erin Luthy

Erin Luthy is in her 10th season as Head Volleyball Coach for Taylor University. She is also Taylor’s Title IX Deputy Coordinator and an Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department. Erin was born and raised in Alexandria, KY where she still holds true to her roots of being an avid UK Wildcat fan. Erin got to experience the transformational Taylor campus community as a student and graduated in 2005 with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in youth ministry. She worked in the clinical mental health field and youth ministry setting for 3 years before she went on to get her master’s in school counseling. She pursued her dream of being a high school guidance counselor for 6 years before the Lord called her into full time coaching at the collegiate level. Now she gets to embrace the beauty of her counseling and competitive worlds colliding, as she loves the opportunity to coach, lead, mentor, guide, and grow some of the most incredible young women on the planet through the platform of Christian college athletics. Erin spends her time away from the gym with her husband Chad, daughter Jadyn (freshman at Taylor), sons Malakai (junior in HS), Zander (8th grade), and Kevin (the cat). She not only passionately loves Jesus, her family and Taylor volleyball. She enjoys worship music, naps, traveling, bargain shopping, game nights, cheering her children on at their sporting events, and movie theater butter popcorn.
