John Stumbo

John is the husband of Joanna (for 42 years!), a dad and “papa” (three kids, five grandkids). He is also an author of five books. He serves on the boards of the National Association of Evangelicals and International Students, Inc. John loves racket sports and all things outdoors and has a swamp in his backyard with very noisy frogs and very shy turtles. He was a pastor for a few decades in churches small and large and now is completing his 12th and final year as President of The Christian and Missionary Alliance, a denomination that some Taylor students are a part of – with 2,000 churches in the United States and 20,000 worldwide. He and Joanna live a few hours away just outside of Columbus, OH. He is a new friend to Taylor University.
