Donna Downs

Dr. Donna Arthur Downs is an associate professor in the Communication Department at Taylor University. She has been teaching various writing, public relations and communication courses since 1987 and has advised the award-winning student newspaper and yearbook. From 1996 to 2001, she served as Associate Vice President for University Relations at Taylor, but returned to the classroom due to her love for students. Donna did her undergraduate work at Indiana University in Bloomington and graduated with an MA and Ed.D from Ball State University. She enjoys writing poetry and personal narratives and has recently published two books: Always and Forever and Poems of Faith. Donna has been married to Larry for 44 years, and she has two sons and three grandchildren whom she adores.
