Pastor Ron Williams

Ron Williams is the senior pastor at Pathway Community Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he has served since 2001. Located on the northwest side of Allen County, Pathway was founded in 2000 by four families from Avalon Missionary Church with a mission to reach neighbors who were distant from Christ and not connected to a local church. Ron and his family joined this small group of passionate individuals, united by a vision to be a church that takes seriously the commandment to love God and love their neighbors as Jesus does.
Under Ron’s leadership, Pathway has grown significantly, offering multiple weekend services, and extending its reach beyond the local community. The church recently launched a Ukrainian gathering to support refugees in the Fort Wayne area and maintains a partnership with Compassion International, through which the people of Pathway sponsor over 600 children in Tanzania. Pathway also partners with a Ukrainian church, providing support and refuge to those impacted by the ongoing war. Ron considers it an honor to work alongside a remarkable staff and elder team, whose dedication and vision have been instrumental in the church’s growth and impact.
Ron’s personal journey is marked by grace, loss, adoption, and new beginnings. He is married to Tami, and together they are blending six children and two grandchildren. His story reflects the heart of Pathway’s mission: to lead people into a full life found in Jesus Christ and to bring hope and healing through faith in Christ.
Ron holds an MA from Indiana Wesleyan University and, though he never attended Taylor, he has a deep respect for and connection to its mission. For the past three years, he has considered it an honor to serve on Taylor University’s Ministry Advisory Council.
