David Neel, Samuel Morris Hall Director, Taylor University

My family first came to Taylor in 2004 when my dad started as the pastor of a local church. Growing up in Upland, I always loved Taylor and knew that one day I would live in Samuel Morris Hall. I attended Taylor from 2012-2015 where I was involved in Carpenter’s Hands, Community Outreach, Media Services, and the Brotherhood (one of the floors in Samuel Morris). Upon graduation, I went to Asbury Seminary and married Kaitlin (Kinnius ’16) Neel.
From fulltime to co-vocational ministry, I have spent my time showing people Christ however I can. I love helping people to take the next step in their journey with Jesus.
I get refreshed by canoeing, gardening, watching TV and movies, playing with our dog, and spending time with people.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- How do you best encounter and experience the love of God?
- How can you put your faith to work this week?
- Has anyone ever shown you the love of God by physical service? (feeding, serving, caring)
