Pastor Jaro Medina, Pastor and Author, New Life Covenant Church, Spanish Campus, Chicago, IL
Pastor Jarixon Medina was born on February 7, 1984 in the island of Puerto Rico. At age 7, his family moved to Pontiac, Michigan where his father Luis Medina was called to pastor a church in the community. Pastor Jarixon Medina is happily married to his wife Lizette of the past 16 years and together they have two children, Jayliz (13 yrs old) and Jeremiah (8 yrs old). Pastor Jarixon Medina alongside his wife Lizette have been the lead pastors of New Life Covenant Spanish Campus as known as (Iglesia Nueva Vida Chicago) since January of 2016. The church is located in the Humboldt Park area in the city of Chicago, IL. Pastor Jarixon Medina truly loves the family culture that exists in his church. In his church you will meet people from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Honduras, Dominican Republic, Peru, Guatemala, Colombia, Belize, Ecuador and many other Latin American Countries. Pastor Jarixon Medina after graduating high school went to ITT (Illinois Technical Institute) and achieved his Associates Degree in Engineering and Electronics. Pastor Jarixon also wanted to further pursue his studies and in June of 2023, he graduated with his Doctorate degree in Theological Studies from Texas University of Theology. Furthermore, in the year 2020, during the Covid pandemic, Pastor Jarixon was inspired to write a book and for the glory of God, he released his first book titled, “Shift” on Dec. 18, 2021.
