Holly Whitby, Vice President for Enrollment and Marketing, Taylor University

Holly Whitby received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a double major in Economics and Communications from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee.  While working in her first job (right out of college), Holly completed her MBA at Belmont University in Nashville and went on to serve various organizations for 16 years in the private business sector. 

In 2011, Trevecca’s president encouraged Holly to leave the private business sector and serve her alma mater in enrollment and marketing.  Holly took a leap of faith and has worked in higher education for the last 12 years – 10 years at Trevecca and the last two years at Taylor.  During her time at Trevecca, Holly completed a second master’s degree in Instructional Design & Technology. 

Holly currently serves as Taylor’s Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing and is a member of Taylor’s Senior Leadership Team.

Holly has been married for 25 years to James Whitby and their sons Parker and A.J. are both students at Taylor.  Their third child is a 10-year-old pug named Scout.  You may have seen Scout wandering the campus with Holly.  Scout is by far the friendliest member of the Whitby family and loves strangers. 

Besides the physical beauty of Taylor’s campus, Holly loves the students and spirit of joy on Taylor’s campus.
