Michael Hammond is the Academic Provost of Taylor University. Prior to his current position, Dr. Hammond served as the Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts and Biblical Studies for three years. He has previously held positions at Wheaton College and Southeastern University. He holds a B.A. from Taylor University (‘92), a M.A. from Wheaton College, and a Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas. 

He is married to Jen Hammond. They have six children.
