Dennis and his wife served with Wycliffe Bible Translators and lived with the Duna people of Papua New Guinea.  They created an alphabet for this previously unwritten language and taught many to read their own language. They also translated the first portions of the Bible in the Duna language for these people who had never heard of Christ.  Several thousand eventually became followers of Jesus and today there are many churches among them
