Chris and Cindy Haughey
Chris Haughey is a social entrepreneur based in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Chris has been a missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ, a strategy consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, and for 12 years served as the Head Elf of Tegu, an innovative wooden toy company that he founded together with his brother to bring jobs and environmental sustainability to the country of Honduras. Chris is a fellow of the Central American Leadership Initiative, and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Chris is passionate about fostering redemptive entrepreneurship for Latin America.
Cindy Haughey (née Norman) grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She is a graduate of Taylor University (‘00) with a BS in Communications and Education and a Master’s of Arts in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. She has worked at The Chapel (Akron, OH) and Mosaic (Los Angeles, CA). She is a writer, speaker, and world traveler. Her most important role yet, is as the mother to her two boys, Corin and Callan. Chris and Cindy live in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, with their two boys and four Labradors.
